Pick Two: An Adversarial Animal Survival Game
Published in arXiv preprint, 2026
This preprint studies the “Pick Two” animal survival puzzle as a heterogeneous coalition-selection problem with adversarial interactions between agents of different capabilities.
The work uses 18,000 Monte Carlo simulations in a Unity-based environment to measure coalition effectiveness, showing that the outcome is not additive and is instead shaped by interaction effects and scaling behavior.
